Kelowna has several clean parks and sandy beaches. See them
listed in the Recreational Services section. The lake is ideal
for all sorts of water sports. Go parasailing, rent a boat or
personal water craft, take a cruise or just swim in the lake.

Mission Creek Greenway
Connects to Mission Creek Park bordering Mission Creek, this park
offers a playground, picnic tables and hiking trails in a quiet
setting. Come and see the spawning of Kokanee Salmon from
mid-to-late September. Springfield Road past Orchard Park Mall.
The west end of the greenway which runs for miles along the
creek, is located on Lakeshore Rd, two blocks south of Cook Rd.

Benvoulin Heritage Church
Built in 1892 in the Gothic Revival style featuring high
ceilings, vaulted arches and steeple, this picturesque church
served the community until 1964. 2279 Benvoulin Road. Phone:

Father Pandosy Mission
In 1860, Father Pandosy started this mission in order to convert
natives, traders and new settlers. Since then it has been
completely refurbished and contains Kelownas oldest
